The Gatsby bar cart references the glamorous lifestyle of the 50s, a time when the cocktail reception was celebrated at home. No matter if one is serving a lovely cup of tea and piece of pastry or rather a select aperitif, at the centre remains the celebration of beautiful objects and savouring special moments. Delicate, parallel running railings, define the subtle shape of the bar cart while also enabling the safe transportation of glasses or bottles. The upper surface is made of grey coloured, transparent glass through which one can cast a glance at the subjacent level, manufactured out of black marble. Due to the distinctive grain and veining of the stone, no bar cart is exactly like the other, making every object unique. Gatsby can be used as a serving trolley in the dining room as well as a movable bar unit or even as a side table in the living room. The bar cart owes its name to the main character of the famous novel The Great Gatsby by Francis Scott Fitzgerald, well known for his lavish parties.
